Fantastic app to read your .chm files on your mobile phone. And its been around.

This ePub Reader is working, but when you use a certain link inside a publication then the type size increases very much. This is not acceptable. It seems to be a bug. Your programer should correct this asap. Btw. the price for the App is too high in comparison with IBOOK which is free of charge.

I really like using my iPad as a reference device and its been great for PDF files. But I have a large collection of CHM help files from many products that Id like to have on the iPad as well. This app finally lets me do that. One update Id really like to see in the future though is to provide a proper tree view of the contents instead of just listing everything at once. When you want something near the end of a CHM file, you can be scrolling for minutes to get there. Having a drill in approach like other apps do it would be great. It would also be nice to be able to turn the table of contents on and off while in landscape mode. Sometimes its nice to have a nice wide screen.

After having used a bunch of CHM readers I settled down on CHMate. The price is a bit steep compared to something like GoodReader but the app offers a lot of font customization options and, most importantly, a consistent thought out Apple UI compliant non-distracting interface that doesnt get in the way of reading. Thanks for the app!

loved it before but even more so noe that i am allowed to highlight Wish it was a bit faster on the highlight and edit options but overall love it

Used to work wonderfully. Latest few updates made it unusable as it crashes now all the time. Freezes as soon as certain files are loaded. Files that opened with no problem in the previous versions. Please fix

Overall an excellent app that opens chm files quickly and easy to annotate. While a recent "update" crashed the app or halted at the loading screen, the app developer has fixed the issue and now working great. This latest update has a clean and refresh look.

I have owned chmate since it was first released. The developers are attentive and have constantly added new and useful features to the app. One of the top five apps on my phone.

Highly recommended. If you have a choice between reading PDFs and CHMs, CHMate will give you a better experience with CHMs.

CHM files are kinda cool because they are really compiled HTML files and allow for easy text-in-page manipulation, image handling and navigation between pages. Which is kinda perfect for a device like the iphone to read a book, especially a technical book. This app does exactly what I had hoped for. It has an easy method for getting files to the device. Be connected to the wifi network, point the web-browser on your computer to the provided IP address which is shown on the first screen you see and upload files to it. It handles files alphabetically and scrolls quickly through files. It allows me to bookmark pages, it is very fast at loading and navigating (pretty much instantanious). I have a 59MB file/book (Sams Teachyourself MS Server 2008, that came on CD with the book). I can take my book with me and study whenever I have a spare hour or so in my day and not worry about lugging that big book around. The only problem I have found is that it renders dashes (-) as some weird characters, I am sure the author will resolve this quickly though. This app is simple, effective, fast and just works. I will do a repeat, longterm review once I have had more time with it.

It is very good bat a small bug. If I terminate the application, it will turn to first page and it is very annoying

Probably the best chm reader for ios, by far!! much recommended. oh.it also beats the chm readers in the dark side hands down!! Can you please fix the bug: crashes on Ipad1 when searching for files.

This update has a search problem. Please fix it.

All my bookmarks from the previous version are lost! Other than that, collections are really useful.

What did you do with interface? Left/right bar under left/right finger was the best and fastest way to navigate for left/right handed users. You changed that to bottom of the screen. I bougt your app because of simple interface and You ruined that in new patch. Now every time user change pages he/she has to move hand from side to bottom of ipad ? Just give us an option to change interface bar to right /left of the screen because no one have third hand to use it Please

Great look and feel, pages look perfect. However there are some persistency problems on ios 6, font size gets reset on each instance, text re-formatting in case of app bar hiding looks ugly.

Regular updates. The app has considerably improved since I bought it in January 2012. Use it regularly for .chm files. Would recommend to everyone who needs a .chm files reader. I presume the app can work with other formats as well as with .chm, although I havent tried it for handling other formats yet. Keep up the great work!

Please throw it out!!! 3d level in chm files is not accessible in Collapse view, you always need to Expand all to see it - uncomfortable (its not this version, it begins a long time ago). Старое Перепробовала, наверное, все программы для чтения chm. Для меня оказалась единственной, которая корректно открывает нужные мне файлы с таблицами, графиками и картинками
