CHMate+: EPUB&CHM Reader App Reviews

Generally speaking, CHM rhymes, in my mind, with a substitute for pdf. I hesitate to buy a doc in this format because most renderers are lame (be they for windows, mac or linux). This one is an exception. It has the same quality as instapaper (if you use this app for reading articles) and makes me wish apples ibook had the same approach to rendering pdfs. A must have.

Waiting for iCloud support and it will be perfect.

Great app. Very usefull. Just ned to resolve the problem with hyphenation.

Great app. The problem is that sometimes the highlight function crashes, and when you restart the app, many highlights are gone, all of a sudden... Besides that, very useful no doubt

The application fulfills what it promises. Chm files were opened without major problems. Compared with other similar applications available on the apple store (for example, readers of PDF files), it is priced a little high.

The app used to be great, but since the last update is uselles only laguing with the same CHM files that i used to read before update!!! Terrible!!!

Faltam competidores... #ENGLISH# Reasonable app for reading .chm files. It has lots of flaws for an app priced that high. The highlights tend to get lost or misplaced after you close and reopen the app. The search bar only searches for words within the currently open chapter. Annoying and unproductive app!!!!! Could use more competition...

Estava até gostando do aplicativo e por isso decidi comprar. Me arrependi muito. Ele sempre apaga/modifica as coisas que eu grifo só me deu dor de cabeça. Se for pra ler sem grifar até que presta. Mas pra grifar horrível. Impossible to highlight properly. I dont recommend it to anyone. This app erases all my highlights everytime

After upgrading it becames useless, buggy and closes immediately. Please correct this issue !

After atualization, it doesnt work. Fix it please

Some files that I used to open with the previous version cannot be opened now. If you could please fix whatever the problem is and make it go back the way it was, Id greatly appreciate it.

Since the last update the option to send by email the highlights selects arent able anymore... Now this is just like the others apps... I dont recommend anymore....

Ive used CHMate since 2010, when Ive bought my first iPad, its a great app for study!

Since last update i can not use my ebooks anymore. Im having a lot of problens. Some books open but i cant open the chapters, and other books not even open.

An EXCELENT .chm reader. There’s just something that really bothers me: it doesn’t read any .pdf files. I KNOW it is in fact a .chm reader, BUT if it could read pdf, it would make people’s lives so much easier and not complicated… I’d just like to keep my entire library in just one app, if you know what I mean!

Best of all: Large menus can be collapsed now. For me it works fine. I have huge flight-manuals from a german airline and all are working fine with this program. For next version it would be nice to search not only the page but through the whole document.

Nice work, best Reader for chm Files i know, large Files are displayed fast. But it seems with the update all previous highlightings and bookmarks are gone:(.
